Pet rats like do wander around and stay active and it’s important for them to have company to do so.Īll in all, getting a pair is usually the perfect option. If they’re alone in the cage, chances are they’ll get bored and even depressed. Remember that rats are very sociable and like to live in communities. If you’re not at home for a grand part of the day or you can’t spend the time necessary to interact with your rat, then, again, two pet rats is still the best choice. Still, I would advise you to get a minimum of two pet rats, since they will miss a buddy. Otherwise, they’ll get bored very easily. If so, you might manage just one at home, as long as you do give lots of attention to them and keep them busy. It is important to have a feel of how they react to you and who’ll bond with you more easily.įinally as for lifestyle, if you’re working at home, this means you’ll probably have time to pay attention and play with your pet rats. With young rats, they’ll meet you from almost the very beginning of their lives! Before bringing any rat home, try to meet your future ratties and handle them. Older rats already have their personality set and they can be more shy with new people. This way they can get used to you more easily and you to them. Another thing to note is that you should try to get young rats. They are very sociable and having another friend will help. If you’ve never had pet rats before, it is still advisable to get two of them. Overall ratties are not an expensive pet to care for, but a visit to the vet might be needed at some point and you should keep that in mind!Īs for experience. The advantage of animals like pet rats is that you don’t need the extra money for vaccines for example. Hopefully, everything will go super well with them! But, there’s always the possibility and you should be sure you have the money to treat your companion. They’re small animals and very sensitive. The biggest cost you might have is if your pet rat needs to go to the vet. The bedding can be made from old clothes that you have at home and the same goes for hammocks! You can make your own hammocks from old clothes, for example, to put on your ratties cage. And hear all the ingame failure logs, they are quite funny. In truth, there’s a lot of stuff that you can make at home with materials that you probably have around. You can attach things to pushers.ĭont look up solutions until you optimized for yourself. You can toggle blocks and select blocks to your building bar you look at. So you should make this path as direct as possible and work everything else around it.Īnd some more things, I discovered quite late: Grey blocks doesnt count for block score. You may ask yourself, what part starts farthest away from goal. And having less blocks makes things also easier to build, as TheGlecter pointed out. Most of the time you cannot impelemnt this at first try, because there will be something you could not have imagined. If you only think first, you have all your capacity to get to a nice, smart solution. this really takes a lot of your brain capacity. Maybe it's because when you are playing and controlling the game, build and try out and build and try again. This might sound a bit hard, but actually it helps me a lot. Then start to think of a solution just in ur head. When I start a new level for me it also helps a lot to memorize the task (which is quite easy I think) and then close the game. Not sure why I felt the need to share that I'm ♥♥♥♥ at a video game, but I didn't feel like writing a long review, and well. I might give it another go with the next level at some point, but I can't see myself ever getting to the end game unless I constantly look up solutions, and that's not much fun. It made me realize that I am just not good enough for this kind of game. Playing through the game, I have been able to work out solutions that made sense to me (though not very optimal I suppose), but after having messed around for about maybe 30 minutes trying to shorten down a map (the first one with turners), I knew the thing I had created was a monster, and ended up not working unless I made it even bigger, and I knew I was probably ♥♥♥♥, so I eventually gave in, and went on youtube, and saw a solution that was a work of art. I'm blaming me for just not being good enough. I'm not blaming it on horrible design, or anything else. This is the first time a game has made me happy to realize I'm so horrible at it that I have no chance in ever finishing it.
